Below is all the information about our player registration process for the 2026/27 season.

£15 Registration Fee

Q: Why does my child have to register to play in the league?

A: This helps supports the league financially, but most importantly makes your child more committed to their clubs, and makes your club more committed to making sure your child takes part in the league.

Q: Why do we pay this if our club has already paid?

A: The charge to the clubs only covers 50% of the league overall costs. We keep the fee low to make sure it's affordable for clubs and helps takes the pressure off them financially. They can just focus on the league without chasing payments off parents.

Q: What is the overall cost of my child playing in the league?

A: If you base it on a squad of 12, the overall cost per child is £40 for the season if you include the player registration fee and club fee. This includes all venues paid for, umpires and scorers sourced and paid for, access to all matchplay footage via our VEO cameras. If clubs charge you an additional fee, then you must discuss with your clubs why your paying extra.

Q: Are there any other costs attached to the league?

A: Yes, anyone spectating must pay a fee of £12.50. This is to help support the league financially, and ensures we do everything we can to encourage you to attend. This obviously is not compulsory and you don't have to attend.

Q. Can we get a refund on our registration if our club or child pulls out of the league?

A: No, all payments are final, so please ensure your club and your child is committed to the league before buying.

Below is all the information about our coach registration process for the 2026/27 season.

Q: Why do coaches have to register to coach in the YNPL?

A: We want to make sure the teams always have someone who has the qualifications to help maximise their performances.

Q: Why are only four coaches allowed to register per team?

A: This creates consistency for the players and stops to certain extent the teams being given anyone to take charge of the games.

Q: Why do three coaches get complimentary access on matchdays?

A: We still have issues with parents being registered as coaches, so this reduces the risk of them avoiding payment to spectate on the games.

Q: What happens if coaches leave who are registered?

A: Unfortunately you will not be able to add anymore coaches.
